Thanks for the info. My brother bought a Prusa Mendel Kit; it takes only an hour or two to build one. 3D printer kit is cheaper and more practical for most hobbyists. Just take note of the compatibility of the materials, especially the filament type and diameter. My brother is using 3D2print’s 1.75mm plastic PLA filaments; so far it’s compatible with Mendel printer.
